Rating

My rating for this book would ultimately be 5/5. I was absolutely intrigued by the mysteriousness of the watchers and what was going on with the whole town.  The development of the story made me really interested and I am excited to read the other 2!

Summary

Violet Brown and her parents have moved to Perfect, a place described by the Archers as ‘perfect’, but Violet will not be tricked. All the people wearing rose-tinted glasses, getting in trouble for the simplest things and the Archers seeming to be behind it all, Violet sets out to see what is wrong. She keeps on hearing a voice once her glasses are taken off, and she is soon to realise it’s a helpful friend seeking the help of her dad who has gone missing.

Characters

Violet Brown is a worried girl with an observant mind, missing her old friends, she has a secret hatred for the Archers.

Boy is a rebellious No-man’s-land-er who wants help from Violet’s dad to make everyone see without the Archers’ glasses.
